API® POND MELAFIX acts as an all-natural, antibacterial treatment for koi and goldfish diseases, including cloudy eyes, mouth fungus, fin & tail rot, damaged fins, ulcers, and open wounds. Use if you notice these symptoms among fish in your pond, or when adding new fish. POND MELAFIX fish treatment is safe with snails and other invertebrates, and will not harm aquatic plants, affect pH, or adversely affect your pond's natural biological filter. Available 237ml, 473ml and 1.89L bottles.

Heals bacterial infections and repairs damaged fins ulcers and open wounds. Contains natural botanical tea tree extract to quickly and rapidly helps fish. Helps treat newly-introduced fish to reduce risk of disease outbreak in freshwater ponds. Use daily for a week when treating infections and for three days as a preventative when adding new fish.

Usage tips:
- Check your pond water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, pH etc).
- Remove any adsorbent filter media such as carbon or phosphate remover before use (these may remove all or part of the treatment).
- Turn off UV filtration.
- Increase aeration during treatment.
- Do not use when the water temperature is above 30°c
- Do not use in hot, humid, and thundery weather.
- Do not mix with other medications.
- Treats up to 18,170L.
