NT Labs Marine Anti-Parasite uses the tried-and-tested method of chelated copper therapy, boosted by the power of formalin to rapidly control these dangerous parasites. Anti-Parasite is a great choice for fish-only systems or hospital aquariums.

White, sugar grain-sized spots covering the body indicate marine white spot (Cryptocaryon), while finer white spots are symptoms of marine velvet (Oodinium). Both are protozoan parasite diseases and may cause the fish to rub themselves against rocks or other aquarium décor.

Product Information:

  • Recommended for: marine fish only, but not reef safe.
  • Treatment type: liquid, 12-day course.
  • Contains Copper, Active Ingredients: Copper sulphate 1600 mg/100 ml, Formaldehyde 2040 mg/100 ml.
  • NOT SAFE in aquariums containing live rock, corals, shrimps, snails, and other invertebrates.

Dosage & total treatment volume:

  • IMPORTANT: Read instructions before use.

Usage tips:

  • Check your aquarium water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, pH etc).
  • Remove any adsorbent filter media such as carbon or phosphate remover before use (these may remove all or part of the treatment).
  • Turn off UV filtration if used.
  • Turn off the protein skimmer for minimum of two hours after each application (monitor skimming when it is turned back on as over-skimming may occur).
  • Maintain good aeration for the duration of treatment.
  • Treats up to 2000 litres for 12 days.
