NT Labs Marine Anti-Fluke & Wormer contains flubendazole which is lethal to skin/gill flukes and internal/eye worms.

  • Skin flukes will cause fish to rub against surfaces in the aquarium to relieve the irritation caused by the parasite. Scratching behaviour without signs of white spot may indicate marine skin flukes. Symptoms may also include lethargy and reddened fins.
  • Gill flukes will cause the fish to gasp at the surface and then become increasingly lethargic.
  • Worms, use when it becomes apparent that fish are becoming thinner ("sucked in") and are continuing to feed. This indicates an internal worm is starving the fish. Clear faeces from a fish’s vent may also be present.

Product Information:

  • Recommended for: marine fish only, but not reef safe.
  • Treatment type: liquid.
  • Contains flubendazole, 1000mg/100ml.
  • NOT SAFE in aquariums containing live rock, corals, shrimps, snails, and other invertebrates.

Dosage & total treatment volume:

  • IMPORTANT: Read instructions before use.
  • A 20ml bottle will treat up to 1000 litres of water.

Usage tips:

  • Check your aquarium water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, pH etc).
  • Remove any adsorbent filter media such as carbon or phosphate remover before use (these may remove all or part of the treatment).
  • Turn off UV filtration if used.
  • Turn off the protein skimmer for minimum of two hours after each application (monitor skimming when it is turned back on as over-skimming may occur).
  • Maintain good aeration for the duration of treatment.
  • It is a good idea to treat affected fish in a separate hospital tank.
