ReeFlowers Potassium Blend is a high density ionic potassium solution containing at least 100,000 ppm per litre. Potassium is an important component of the coral skeleton. In case of deficiency, problems such as dulling of colours and loss of texture are seen. The pigments it contains give the purple and blue colour in some polyps, are important in regulating neurological functions, and are consumed by living things in the aquarium. The concentration of potassium in natural seawater is about 400 ppm. The value in aquariums also needs to be kept close to this.

How to use:

The rate of potassium consumption in each aquarium is different. Before using the product, determine the concentration of potassium in the aquarium with a suitable test kit.

  • Add the solution to 100 lt in a way that does not exceed 5 ml in a day until it reaches the appropriate level.
  • 1 ml of solution provides an increase of 1 ppm per 100 lt (1 cap = ~ 6 ml).
  • After the desired levels are reached, periodic tests are carried out to determine the amount of consumption, and the solution is added daily or weekly.

If the potassium test is not used, it is recommended to use 2 ml per 100 lt per week for a tank with an average load. For long-term use, it should not be used more than 4 ml per 100 litres per week.
