Designed to be placed in Sera Fil 60 and 120 internal power filters, it is also suitable for upgrading and improving the performance other brands of filter. This 1000ml pack is suitable for aquariums up to 200 litres.

The features and benefits of using Sera Siporax Mini ‘Professional’ biological filter medium:
- High surface area allows the purifying, nitrification bacteria to colonise in high numbers, and quickly.
- Compact size and shape allows for a larger amount of filter media to be used in a smaller space.
- Made with sintered glass, this unique material is excellent and efficient as it has a special three-dimensional pore structure increasing the media surface area. These fine pores provide ideal settling conditions for bacteria that break down pollutants. As this forms an interconnected system, the bacteria are permanently rinsed by water and so they can break down pollutants in the most efficient way. Additionally, the unique pore structure allows for self-purification of the media and thus very long intervals between cleaning.
- In combination with specialized bacteria, Sera Siporax even fulfils a variety of other special tasks such as algae prevention or directed water conditioning.
- Water parameters are stabilized, and maintenance is reduced.
Usage:
- (As a standalone biological media) this 270g pack is sufficient for filtering a 200-litre aquarium.
- For best results, use with Sera Bio Nitrivec Liquid Biofilter Medium filter bacteria.
