Sera Silicate Clear removes and binds silicate easily and safely without it releasing back into the aquarium. The remover will remain active for up to three months depending on the aquarium size and the level of water pollution. By keeping silicate levels low, this will help to reduce the growth of single celled algae (Diatoms). Sufficient for removing up to 10,000mg of silicate from aquarium water. This is mostly used by marine aquarists but is also suitable for use in freshwater aquariums.
