Sera Filter Wool is a fine filter media which can be used either for mechanical filtration or for 'polishing' the water to improve water clarity. Suitable for use in most freshwater and marine aquarium filters, it will trap fish waste, decaying food and other tiny particles which can pollute the water. Can easily be rinsed and re-used. Available in 100g, 250g and 500g packs.

Sera Filter Wool consists of stable fibres that retain finer dirt particles for a longer time without sticking or collapsing.

Sera recommend that Sera Filter Wool is used with (and placed after) Sera Siporax Professional for the biological filtration. Sera Siporax Professional is open pored and three dimensional - for lasting pollutant breakdown.

When used in combination with Sera Phosvec, Sera Filter Wool makes it easier to remove the bound substances.

All Sera filter media must be rinsed under warm water before using it for the first time.
